Tuesday Camp Recap

Day two into the great Galactic Trek, and things are just getting started. The Scouts were energetic and had a lot of fun. Here are some great photos demonstrating what went on today at camp.

Bug suckers!

There is a big cricket in this one. How did it fit through the straw?!

Looking for bugs.

Minute to win it games. Using a banana on a string to get the orange to the other side.

Cupcake challenge!

Baseball belt loop in practice. Also applying what they learned about levers to everyday life.

Watching Bill Nye the Science Guy. Kids had a blast.

Building space ships, again applying levers to a fun activity.

Getting ready to launch bottle rockets!

Making land rovers, powered by wind.

Rover races!

Again, it was a great day for camp. Tomorrow the Scouts are learning about codes, playing ultimate Frisbee, learning about circuits and electricity, and they will learn all about chess (and earn their belt loop!). Stay tuned for more Cub Camp news.
